You can disconnect the tube at the carburator end. nothing tricky about taking it off but when you put it back on you have to be sure the extension on the rod in the tube goes into the "slot" in the throttle shaft end. You will understand when you get it apart. Be sure to clean all the ports in the carb well but use carb cleaner and air, not torch cleaner wires(experience) check the float for fluid inside and level. If you get a kit you can follow directions. they usually have a new needle and seat and new throttle shaft. also when you put the throttle butterfly back in the shaft be sure to put it in right. I believe the writing on it goes up but check the instructions. if not done right the idle bypass won't work right(experience).
