Today I brought home my first tractor a 1948 "H".I've been looking for 2+ yrs since being bitten by the tractor bug for the right tractor at the right price. It's been painted(fair job)and seems to be all there. Has the following: lights(not working right now),fenders,4 brand new tires and tubes, new steering wheel and seat. Its missing belt pully and pully engagement rod. I had to drive it 15 miles home and was concerned about overheating etc. but all went well. I was VERY happy with the price of $1500 and smiled all the way home. Especially after all the auctions I went to and ads I chased after and seeing alot of bad tractors at high prices. No questions right now but I'm sure i'll have them. I just wanted people to know that deals can be had out there. My patience(I feel) paid off and would like to hear your comments
