Jeff, The only Cub I have ever sold was a 1947 with hand lift. At public auction in 1999, it sold for a LOT more than $3000. It was enough more to buy the tires, mower, and paint job. Two or more bidders determined the price. I guess with Cub prices, there are no absolutes. The mower was a shop mounted Bolens 4 1/2'.
