I just checked my "150 Yrs. of IHC" book. Nothing on the #27 baler, just the #37. But the later models showed a 420, 430 & 440 model. I would imagine the #27 is comparable to the 420. It's rated 15 tons per hour capacity while the 440 is rated 19 tons per hour. Not that much difference. The bales should be about the same size for all these models. The smaller balers just not able to make as many per hour. The length of the bales is somewhat adjustable. Have to change parts though. IHC balers were not known for having the best knotters in the industry though. Tough to get them to tie consistently.
