Most common tractor used in 1969

Hello! I am a novelist working on my second book based in farm communities. The novel is set in southeast Indiana, and I would like to find out which tractor would have been common to that area. The tractor would be pulling a one or two row corn picker. I would like to keep my facts correct, so any information is appreciated. Thank you.
