From what you have posted it sounds like your disc is too thick or the flywheel depth is too shallow. The step for the flywheel should be 1.406 inches. That is the specification from the mounting surface of the pressure plate to the clutch disc friction surface. Another thing to check is the thickness of the pads on the disc they should be about .420 thick. When you installed the disc, did you have the spring side of the disc facing away from the flywheel, towards the rear of the tractor? When you figure out what's wrong be sure to post. Good luck
