Does anyone know what the main bearing journal and rod end journal dimensions were on the '44 Farmall A crankshaft when it was originally made? I don't believe mine has ever been apart but am not sure. The plastigage clearance is between .005 and .006 on the main bearings with the old bearings in place. I want to know how much of this wear is bearing (probably most) and how much is journal wear. The journals look REAL good so i don't plan on a grind. I don't rule out a previous grind job so I really need the original spec dimension before I order new bearings. I've searched this site and only found previous advice to search out a machinist. Please help. Thanks
