You need to take the steering gear apart. It will likely then be obvious what is the problem. I doubt you need to replace the worm gear or the sector gear. It's probably the bearings. I've never had a Super A steering gear apart, but have had a C and a M. An easy thing to check is the worm gear ball bearing. Take out the big plug on the front of the steering gear. Then I think you can screw out the worm gear with the bearing far enough to check it. If you want to take it all the way out, you will have to remove the steering wheel. Another check is to block the wheels so they can't move when you turn the steering wheel and the steering wheel moves back and forth when you turn it, then the worm gear ball bearing is worn out. That ball bearing is easy to replace and does not cost much. It's the first thing to check after the tie rods, etc.
