Good little toy the 371, 500lbs lift. Any more then that and your on your face. Belt drive type machine, with chain drive in the lower unit. Look at the belts, hoses, tires, and the frame work. Make sure its not all bent up and or bad welds. I just rebuilt an engine in one and redid a cylinder yesterday in it. My guess on price is $500-3000
