I seem to recall on my Case 188 that there is a small screen filter inside the injector pump. It should be located where the fuel line comes into the injector pump from the second filter. There was a nipple on mine that unscrewed and allowed access to the filter. You need to have a good clean (free of air bubbles) stream of diesel flowing to the input of the injector pump. If all that is clear then you"ve most likely got an injector pump problem. I suspect if you take out the pump and take it to your local Case dealer he can test it for you. I"d guess most any diesel injection shop would be able to rebuild yours. Best of luck, John 1968 Case 450
