I've got a question that has stumped my local JD dealer. I took my hyd pump down to get rebuilt and ordered some new upper and lower radiator hoses. The new lower hose I got isn't made the same as my old one. On mine it appears someone added a 5/8 or 3/4 heater hose from the lower rad hose that connects to the lower thermostat housing.
The bypass hose from the water pump to the lower thermostat housing is present, anyone know why the second bypass hose would have been added??
