Waiting for the book to arrive and anxious to repair question: The orginal alt was replaced with a Delco alternator, and they ran a hot wire from output to the DA connection, and a excite wire from the key switch. The orginal wiring is not connected/plugged in as they were too short to reach? The orginal wire #'s are orange 33, red? on the DA plug.and the orange #3 is connected to the alternator casing? Anyone got a plan to re-connect orginal wiring to the delco unit, at the tach #33 is bat pos, and #3 is tach signal, haven't found the red one yet in the instrument panel. Present alt output is connected to a larger orange wire but no number visable. tks
