I can imagine that the shadows would start earlier based on the way it was situated on the mountain side. In my research I found it was closed up in 1990, two years before I was born. I'd try local historical entities, but to my knowledge, because of how remote it was in its heydays, I just don't know which to try or if they have anything any how. And of course, it doesn't help that I weighted until I'm a student at the U of A in Tucson to try to look, as apposed to when I was in high school in the area.
