finished first cutting today. About two weeks ahead of last year and what a good feeling. Got 90% with no rain on it.

We are so far behind on rain I dunno if we will have a second cutting around here ( kc, mo ) ...most everything is brown and dried up.

We got a bit over an inch of rain last weekend so maybe if it keeps coming we will get something.

Here in upstate NY we had rain last week every day but we needed it. Second is comming along and this has been a very good year for us. Not sure where to put it all. My timothy went 140 bales/acre and looks very nice. sold half right out of the field. I'm sure next year will be something different. But every one needs a good season sometime. good luck

I just finished tedding my 2nd cut this morning. This is the earliest I"ve ever done the 2nd cutting. Must be the extra rain We"ve been having. So far, this is my best year I"ve seen in a long time. I"ve got eight horses fed for the year and am peddeling hay!
