Roundup won't touch vetch, need a good healthy shot of 2-4,D a couple weeks after it has started growing.

Ain't it funny how one man's trash is another's treasure...in my neck of the woods folks pay good money for crown vetch and it is hard to get started...Not for crop or feed mind you...just for decorative gardening.

Ain't that the truth. This stuff is the bane of my existince in the U-Pick. I still mechanically cultivate 80% of the so it is somewhat under control.

In one area I have given up and using it with the cut flower efforts this yr. To much rain so the flower seed has been washed away to make pretty ditch somewhere :)
