We need a little more than a package of seed. Do you have the weight or seed count in that little agway bag.

Corn is planted by seeds per acre which can be translated into seed spacing at a given row spacing.

16 rows * 100 = 1,600 ft 50lbs of corn = 80,000 seeds or 1,600 per lbs.
Lets assume a 1 lb bag - 1,600 seeds
This would put your seed spacing at 12" or 1 ft.

A little far apart unless your rows are real close together.

You might be better off planting your corn in clusters for the amount you have,

about 7" in the row and the rows can be anywhere from 30" to 36" apart, always have at least two rows for pollination.

I bet the 16 rows refers to the number of rows of kernals on the cob.
