Hello Dave from MN: In the previous string about Piling manure up, you mentioned you found info about loosing much of the N withing a very short time if not disked into the ground... My question to you (or anyone) is where on the internet have you found that info?? ...and anyone know where a website is that gives the general relative amounts of gases given off by cattle/cow manure. I know methane is the largest amount but would like to know how much of the other gases come out of cattle and dairy manure? Thanks for any links... Didn't think I'd ever be interested in the details of manure but ya gotta learn more and more about all aspects of farming it seems to grow good crops.. Thanks again.. agpilot
