Hello: I brought an ac wd earlier this year and i'am looking for a disk for it/it does have a 3pt set up/but would a 10' tandem wheel disk be to large/wheel disk can be found at times fairly resonable/any info will certainly be appreciated/thanks Al

I would definitly stick with an 8ft unless you're on a gravel patch. A 3 point would be a real bugger to manuver, pushes way to much on a turn

with no weight on it the WD should pull it alright if it is up to snuff as a tractor. Let your drawbar swing free. Put a pin in the last holes on either side of the drawbar and let it swing back and forth. Thatll help you on the turns. Of course, good tires and brakes will make a diff also

Hello Alferd. I have a wd allis it will pull a eight foot tandem wheel disc real good. My neighbor has a ten foot wheel disc he pulls with a wd 45. It is a load on the ten foot one in plowed ground. I think i could make better time with the eight foot on my tractor. If you was using it to scratch up a seed bed in pasture it probadly would be ok with a ten foot. Good luck on finding a disc to use. Archie

Archie, if you are going to be doing any custom farming and transporting the disc alot, consider the 3 point mounted disc. It is much easier to transport greater distances.
