I second getting your tools out and getting your hands dirty. The parts/shop manual is your friend! But... a better friend is these forums right here. There is some VERY VERY knowledgable people here on the 2cyl stuff. I'm learning and already learned alot from there. They don't seem to mind helping and lending a hand!!!

John ---

Put an add in your local news paper...some one could be looking for work on the side,,,,ask the men that did your machine work or sold you parts.....

OK get you a service manual out, wipe off your tools..... ask lots of questions on the John Deere and of the tractor pull guys put it togeather yourself.....use the right tools and plasta-guage in the bearings...ASK QUISTIONS ..... ..Don
