The frost finally went out here in NW Wisconsin, just got started but did about 5 acres after work last night. There is just something theraputic about the old JD 720 at full power and the smell of fresh dirt that feels sooooo oo good. Any way yee haa. Now all thats left is to use my daughters college fund to pay for the seed. LOL

Wasn't much frost here in Michigan for all the snow. So much mud,it's gonna be a while yet before anything gets worked. I hauled 3 loads of manure yesterday,it was touch and go. Gonna try a little more today. Think I'd better have my walking shoes with me.

We lived on a dairy farm when I was small....We always had horses to ride.....Dad's pets were a team of very large Belgin horses and a fancy hand made hornes.....

He used them to hall manure every day...they could go when the tractors could not.....Don

It'd take quite a team to pull this V-Max. They'd have to get their tails spinning pretty fast to turn it. :)

I live on a hill , almost all gravel, great drainage but terrible in the drought years, which is what we have had for four years. My low fields are all still too wet.

No frost here all winter. To much snow piled up to freeze.

But we have not turned a wheel yet cause of mud.

It will dry someday I guess.

Gary

Congratulations; Guess it will be awhile around here. Still snow on the ground although rain forcast for today may take it down to drifts and shaded areas. Frost out cant be more than a couple weeks away. To bad about the college fund, but maybe you can send them to the school of hard knocks, I sure learned a lot there! LOL

It got up to 65 in central Mn. yesterday. The snow went down a lot but there are still some banks left. I think the frost is out in most places, as the water in the low spots is going down.

Well there is not much standing water here either, most gone with the wind, rest is soaking in but the shovel only goes in about 4" in the clear spots. Its coming and there is buds on trees and green sprouts in the ground. Bob
