I am looking for an electrical schematic for a 1995 Zimmatic Pivot. It seems that I am always diagnosing something electrical and a manual would be nice. I have been told by the dealer that they do not exist, but I think he just won't sell me one so he can get the service calls. Any advice and direction would be greatly appreciated.

Seems like there is some of that in the users manual. I've got mine for a '95 sprinkler out at the farm - I'll try to swing by there on the way to work and scan the schematic tomorrow, if it is in there...

They really are pretty simple once you get familar with them. From tower to tower there are three power legs, a kill wire, an end tower movement wire, etc, that are the important ones... Once you've identified the basics like those out of the less important "clutter" like auto-reverse, end gun, etc, with addtl wiring, those are the ones I tended to always need to check from one problem to the next...

Allan,

There is a very basic schematic inside the door, but I'm looking for a complete guide including the wire color codes for the tower limit switches, relays, pressure switches, endgun controller, etc. A troubleshooter would be helpful too. I feel certain that such a thing exists at least for training their techs.

I smell schematism. Look that up in your Funk and Wagnels. David.

Look inside the control panel door. Should be one stuck in there?

Allan
