Just picked up my grand fathers 53 jubilee. Putting the list together to begin restore. What are the pros and cons of converting from 6 volt to 12 volt? function, value? where can i find left side foot rest that had the built in tool box. the old one is in poor shape and the tool box door is welded shut. the front left sheetmetal is crunched. any direction on where i can find replace? thanks for the assist.

Try WWW.Dennis-Carpenter.com They make high quality reproduction parts for NAAs. They are a good company to deal with.

look under the tractor parts here, upper left, they list the upper emblem mount and both the doglegs, as well as a replacement tool box if everything is "clean, brite and tite" 6 or 12 volt is fine, the 12 willspin the starter faster

If you don't get what you want here.. try the Ford side of form. As for converting from 6 to 12. You will get a better turn over for starting for one. Lights for 12 or much brighter I think. Sure others can give better info then me. Have a good day. It's snowing here in Mid Missouri right now. shesssss
