My dodge has BEEN parked since diesel went higher then high test. And thinking real hard about selling it . Benn looking a a old junk 88 ford ranger that has the trans out of it and thinking that this is the way to go as i just happen to have a spare trans that only has 68000 miles on it along with and extra 2.9 and transfer case. My old ranger died and believe me when i say it is not worth fixen as the springs are done for and the body is toast the one i am looken at has a good body and sup. And i don't care what i am driven as long as the main things work and i can get from point A to B and back . Done tryen to empress anybody. Diesel hit 4.25 .9 today and several of my friend have parked there big rigs . We ain't seen the bottom of this yet. Clean your guns and stock up on ammo.

As much as I would like to park it, I NEED it most all the time, hauling vehicles and tractors and such ( i have a diesel repair shop, body shop and towing service) so I do use it alot (353,000 miles on it) I just hate fillin it up, Oh well, no sense beating a dead horse, mileage cost just have to go up again. Great idea on the ranger, I need to find something like that just for the light work! guns are clean and bought lots of ammo years ago when i had money! Wonder if it will really come to that? If fuel goes dry you can bet it will!

The Rangers are the type of truck i use for my lawn tractor work. I drive a 91, 2.3 4cylinder, 5 speed tranny, and get good gas mileage. It isn't the best lookin truck on the road, but it just sips gas, and being retired, i don't have a lot of gold to buy much gasoline. Body is fair, frame fair, tires like new, everything works good, so i'm happy with it.

Well you could be like the one towing Co around here, he NEVER BUYS FUEL for ANY OF his wreckers he STEALS IT form his tows . HE towes a semi in tanks are almost sucked dry , Tows a diesel pick up in same thing . GET his lawnmower gas the same way sucks out of all the night tows . See him go thru tows and steal personal stuff and get away with it as he is one of the good old boys around here . Heck he does not even have DOT numbers on his big wreckers . Runs around with expired plates and nobody does nothing .

You need to find an old junker and fill the tank with bad gas or put sugar in it, then let him tow it. ;^)

It has been 3.99 here west of Portland, I went to the coast over the weekend, and found it at 3.72 in Astoria. Guess who jumped in and filled up.

My Dad's International is still working good, we have hauled a lot of wood home with it, it is a great truck. I'd love to save your truck from being parted out, but I'm only 15 and I'm paying for another tractor, I don't owe much anymore. My dream truck is a International truck and I don't see very many of them. How much for your truck? I was watching one on eBay that was in pretty good shape, but no box on it for $500, but when it had 2 days left, they ended the listing for some reason?? Can hardly wait to see those pics.

Andy.

Its ye haw when you expect to get bent over for 4.11, instead i got bent over for 3.83, somehow I was happy, keep in mind we have been paying 3.70 here for over a month, so the 10 cent jump instead of the 50 cent jump was nice, dont get me wrong it all sucks!!!!! !!!!!
