I am sorry I have to use this post even though I love tractors and collect/work on them.

Am I the only person in this country that thinks this is the dumbest thing to do when things get tough?

If I have this right, we borrow money from China, give it to the folks in our country so they can buy products that were made in China.

The folks in power in China have to be rolling in laughter over this.

The rebate is a great deal... but here's the real deal: when you get it buy things that are only made in the US of A or as another said use it to pay your taxes on your US land.

IMHO it's best used for things made here, owned here and that will stay AMERICAN here !

I don't think it is going to do any good at all. If this wasn't an election year they wouldn't do it.

Makes perfect sense in Washington. Spend our way out of debt. David.

I don't know about it being the dumbest thing but it ranks right up there. I plan on using my rebate(if it comes to pass) to pay toward my taxes.

I'll use mine to buy another tractor. I'd like to have an AC unstyled WC. Not made in China. The economy of this country is not good, I'll agree on that!!
