Next time you're in town, pick up Merle Haggard's "Bluegrass Sessions" CD. Whew. Good stuff. Nothin' I like listening to more than bluegrass and classic country...put 'em together and look out. I highly recommend it.

Here's one I can't stop listening to. Pricey, but it has 4 cd's at about an hour each plus a DVD of some interviews and a couple of videos.

Some country, some bluegrass and some in between.

Artists include Guy Clark, Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, Chris Hillman, Dolly Parton, The Bad Livers, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, The Seldom Scene, Red Knuckles & The Trailblazers, Hot Rize, Donna the Buffalo, The Gourds, The Nashville Bluegrass Band, Doc Watson, Ricky Skaggs, Tim & Mollie O'Brien (both individually and as a duet), etc etc

Another great CD in my opinion is Michael Martin Murphy's Sagebrush Symphony.
