Any of you Google Earth users ever try the photos at local.live.com? I know the clarity depends on where you are,but with Google I can't even see my buildings. With local live, not only can I see them, but I can see the 4 wheeler tracks around the outside of the fields. My son in law told me about it. Pretty amazing clear satalite photos.

Randy, My farm looked pretty good, but not to wheel tracks...

One of the local boys, (grew up in McBride, recently graduated from WMU -pilot's program) is working for a company that is making aerial maps. He flies a grid over an area at about 2000feet, turns back and runs a parallel track. Aircraft is equipped with four cameras. Takes side views as well as straight down. One of the big customers are the 911 dispatch centers. They can direct the responders to within feet, and describe the place to them. ("On the back of the house are three windows, one door, two story!) Amazing! when he lands, he takes hard drive out, sends it to company, and puts in a new one.

Well, if you get that resolution, I'd say you're blessed. My farms aren't all that great with either one, and the gov't offices definitely have better pics than those programs.
