I,ve been pricing 6 volt golf cart batteries today. It seems every one has them priced between $95. and $l05. each around here except for Sam,s Club. They have 6 volt Energizer 220 amp hour batteries for $61.48 each. I know you usually get what you pay for. But with that much difference are these batteries any good. Sams pallet is about empty and I,m wondering if the next pallet of batteries will also have a big price increase. Has anyone had any experience with Energizer golf cart batteries.. Thanks

A fellow golfer, who has an electric cart, explained to me, the proper way to charge and care for your cart batteries. If you care for them properly they will last at least 4 yrs.

I don't have a cart and do not remember what he said about it, but, if you are going to spend big bucks for batteries, you should look into the proper care.

The manufacturer should have the info available somewhere.

I just bought a set of Trojans for mine @ $105 ea. The reason? I talked to golf cart owners. If used on a golf course,Sams will last 3-4 years,if used on the farm,2-3 yrs. My cart is an EZ-GO. Wwhen I bot it he thought bats were 4 yrs old. { Trojans} I got 10 more yrs on those bats & only 1 tested bad but at that age I replaced them all. Figure it out! Also if you go back on this forum 3-4 mos there was the same question with many replies.

I put a set in my old Club Car just over 2 years ago, and also replaced all the cables at the same time. I have had zero problems, and have only added water a couple of times in the last few years. Mine sits under a cover pretty well out of the elements and gets used for a work truck around here almost daily. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them from Sams again when it's time, probably another 2 to 3 years for mine. By the way, the blue trailer in the picture below I now have 52 square bales of hay on it and it tarped and amazingly I can still pull it around the yard with the golf cart, fortunatly it's flat land here in South Texas.
