Howdy All,

I have a problem some of y'all may have faced before. My pasture is infested with mole crickets. Searched the web this morning and found that a product called Talstar is the recommended solution. But dang it is expensive...$220.00 for 3/4 gallon and that wont treat but 2-3 acres and I have 5 to treat... Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

The active ingredient of Talstar (turf and ornamental product)is Bifenthrin. It can be purchased under other names for Ag use much cheaper. There is another product that I think gives longer term control, Imadacloprid. It too is available as a generic product. Always check the label before applying, remember, it's the law and nobody likes getting those friendly visits from the dept. of ag. "I'm inspector so-and-so, here's my credentials, where's your application records?"
