What a feeling ! It always is a relief to get the bean harvest done. We have a day of bean harvest left to do because of a rain-out yesterday. Bean yields have been all over the place, from the low 40's to the low 60's. Probably average around 53 after all is weighed and documented. Alot of down corn in Waterloo area, also. Went down in July wind storm. Reports of "down" corn yielding 75 to 90 bpa. and "standing" corn doing much better at 170 to 200 plus bpa. Good luck !

Congrats Gary. Sounds a little below what you guys usually get but if that is average over that many acres at todays prices, thats certainly enough for the electric fuel tank and a few dinners out with mama so you can tell her of your latest investments, at least thats the term I use when bringing home something new. Stay safe and hope you have a big corn harvest. How dry is the corn standing in the field? Later Migraine

Thats where the problems start.

The corn is out in the field but it is not standing very well.

Big wind storm last Sunday knocked down in a lot of places.

Nieghbors moisture is running 16 to 18.Will know mine tomorrow.
