Does anyone know of a manufacturer that sell a Front quick tach adapter for a 148 John Deere loader. I have a bucket, grapple, Bale Spear, etc with pin type connection. I want to quick tach to my existing impliments. Or does someone have a drawing or picture of one I could build?

I've had an MDS Sur-Lock((605)928-7951)on my J.D.146 loader for over 10 years and it's been very durable and trouble free.I really like the fact that i didn't have to modify my attachments(bucket, pallet forks and grapple)to use this(with some other Q.T's.you have to weld on additional brackets,etc.).

There's a guy in Curtiss Wi can fix you up with anything you need. But I don't know where you are.

Try MDS, out of SD. Should find them in Fastline, or at JD dealers. Had one since the 80s, but later models have a better latch handle system.. Just rebuilt mine with a copycat handle. They come in 3 pieces, maybe for shipping (weight per piece?) reasons, but I cut out the connecting tube that was bolted in place, and replaced it with 2x4 quarter wall tube, welded in place to make it a solid unit.
