The Bluffs sure give their grounds a great background setting. Was a great 2 days for sure.
Threshing, corn shelling, bean cutting-(horses & tractor)bean combining, potato digging-(horse & tractor),plowing,tractor/equipment parade each day,And a whole lot of antique equipment to look at and the friendliest folks.
Home made ice cream all day, great Brats, pancake breakfast, etc, plenty to eat for sure. Just a very well planned show and a great mixture of things to do,watch and look at.
Bob

Glad I got to see you there Bob. Larry wasn't feeling well and we didn't stay too long. I need to run up sometime when the show isn't on and just spend some time looking. They do have a beautiful location.

Was it that hay loader he was trying to give away and no takers? LOL Hope he is feeling better now.
If you go up there take a good look at that humgus old chain trencher, it's setting right next to the dragline. Try to imagine operating that thing for 8 or 10 hours, also keeping it on line with that chain steering.
Yep they have some really neat stuff there.

Allan did you know of the Griff Davies & Sons in Gering?
Griff was my Dads uncle, he and Terry bought there first dump trucks at the same time.
Dump truck's, semi's and house moving, hauled a few cases of beer from Omaha with the REO semi.
Also there were some Yager's south west of Gering on my Moms side.
Sure would have liked to met you at the show.

Bob, that is a great picture. Only part of Nebraska I have seen was all flat and covered with corn and milo.
