When's the best time to sell on E-bay

I have two Oliver 70's that I'm going to part out and I'm wondering when is the best time to list on Ebay to maximize my return? Like most things, activity on Ebay "seems" to be cyclical. I was thinking in the October-November time frame when all the crops are in and money is in the bank.

Thoughts?

Like others have said, have the auction end on Sunday evening. If that does not work out, make sure id does NOT end on Fri or Sat evening or in the middle of the night. There is an option when setting up the item to start the auction at at particular time, this of course costs a little more, but can be well worth it.

I have my stuff come off on Sunday evening. 5PM EST and 9PM PST. This guarantees everyone has equal access to it. Not sure if it works, but I seem to get a good price on what I sell. Well, ebay does anyway....

HTH

Ebay does seem to be cyclical, but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the seasons. Rather, it seems to be a totally random thing, and no way to predict it. Keep in mind that it is not just the farmers with crops that are collecting these old tractors. The collectors may live in the country, but their income is derived from the job or profession they have in town.

When you have the parts ready to list, start the listing on Sunday evening, sometime around 7 or 8 pm, and run the listing for 7 days. Or, pay the extra for the 10 day listing, and start the auction on Thursday evening, which will then give you two weekends for the item to get exposure.
