In preparation for upcoming haying, my father inlaw and I thought we would change out a leaking worn out 3 spool valve on his JD 3130. After changing out valve we thought all was well as the front end loader worked as it should but to our suprise when we hooked up the haybine and went to lower or raise it both rear scv valves did nothing. After a little head scratching I remembered reading on this site about John Deere using closed center valves on their hydraulic systems. A trip back to the store where we bought the valve to get the proper plug to change the valve to a closed system and we are back in business. Now if I could only get info from this site to help me fix my wifes washing machine... Have a good one eh?

Try that, a great place as i have won some brownie point from mother dear by fixing the washing machine a couple of times. Not to mention the money saved.
God Bless,
