i boyght a 1972 model 445 long a couple of years ago from the orginal buyer,,he never had any major trouble and it is still a good old tractor and i use it quite a bit.

we have had 4 and we still have 2 of them, a 360 bought new in 1978 and a used 1975-76 bought in 1981. They have some little quirks, but they have been good. Very good on fuel for light to medium work. Not really too bad on plowing as well. They have been used for haymaking and tobacco crops.

I have had a 560 & a 445. The 560 was a 4 wheel drive piece of junk, but that was because it was wore out when I bought it. The 445 is an exceptional tractor and has served me well for a number of years.

I prefer short tractors. They"re easier to maneuver and you can get more of them in a barn.
