Hello,
There is a 1950 Farmall H-NF sickle bar mower that is for sale. It needs some work. I'm not sure if I can get parts for it, since I cannot find information about the H-NF model.

Please let me know if I was given misinformation regarding the model.

Thank you.

Parts are available for most of it, and what isn't available can be built by a machine shop. What's the price? Any pics?

A farmall H would have used a 27 V mower. My 27V has no name plate. They were ided with white letters when new.

The H as well as others could have used the 16,25V,27V,31, and some more. The H was made for several years and mowers were updated along the way

It probably depends on what parts you need.

There were A LOT of Farmall H's made. Outside of the large castings, you can probably get aftermarket parts for most things. Otherwise, you had better talk with a salvage yard or keep an eye on e-bay or similar.

For the sickle mower, well, it depends. Some of those parts are universal or widely used (i.e. sections, rock guards, etc.) others are going to be hard(er) to come by (i.e. original pulleys, castings, main sickle bar, etc.)

If you can be more specific, we can be more helpful!

Nathaniel

The mower should have a number on the model. Myself I have never heard of an H-NF model. Depends on what is needed. Bearings, seals, belts and cycle bar parts are available for most all McCormick mowers.
