I normally spend my time servicing and repairing Claas and J.C.B. equipment here in NZ, now, the group parts manager where I work is building a Hot Rod, "32 Ford chassis, and has asked me to build up the drive head for the rear axle. Its a Ford 9" diff, he has got a Richmond instillation kit brought over from the USA. Do any of you know what the crownwheel bolt torque, Pinion shaft nut torque and bearing preload for the pinion shaft and diff bearings is, also the backlash setting so I can build it up for him? Thanks for any help!

If it is going to be a show car use the crush sleeve. If the motor has some snort and he will be running it hard set it up with solid shims.
