We have a 751 bobcat that we bought used (98 model) a year ago that we use on our dairy.Needless to say it sees more than it's fair share of,,lets just say dirt and moisture. In the time that we had it,today was the first time we have tried to unhook the bucket and we can't get it freed up.I asked the previous owner (rental yard) if they ever had it off, they said they had it off often by putting a short pipe on the handels and giving 'er a reef.Tried that WHILE also hitting the wedge shaped rods on the bottom side, won't budge. It is almost completely enclosed,so it is nearly impossible to get at it with a torch.I soaked the top opening with penetrating fluid and will likely try again in a few days to let it soak in as much as possible.Does anyone have another suggestion? Thanks for your time.Phill

Never had that happen on Bobcat but have on case ussually used a piece of pipe about 2 foot and hit the pins on bottom watch not to break those handles off also try putting a small pipe underneath the bucket pins and pushing down on that with the weight of loader it will work sometimes goodluck it can be a pain.

I have had to thaw my pins by heating the mounting plate. It is easiest if you tip the bucket clear forward and heat in line with the pins. perhaps heating and spraing with penetrant you can draw some in as it cools. A good red grease in a aerosol will actually follow the heat. Good luck.

PS to long a pipe will bend your levers. An air chisel hammering on the bottom of the pin could help as well. Let us know how you get it loose.

don't know for sure on 751 but newer model i use has grease fittings on side of quick tach pin housing. if you have them try removing and working penetrating oil in also try to force grease in fittings after soaking. check owners manual.
