Gee,

Seems like I just got done redoing an old baler and here I am doing it again already.

Oh well, at least this one doesn't need a heck of a lot to make 'er field ready.

I changed my plans after I ran into the hay shortage thing.

Not planting a seed until maybe 20 acres of some winter wheat in September. :>(

Allan,

You will be glad you got it done when hay season starts.

Yeah,

Critters just about ate us out of house and home. Don't want to come up that short on hay ever again.

This year, I'm gonna bale up anything I see standing. :>)

With so many acres of hay ground going to corn this year I think hay is going to be a very valuable crop in the coming few years. We will only need about a day to have our hay equipment ready to go but it's going to be a mad rush over the next 10 days or so to have the planting equipment ready to roll when the mud dries up.
