Need some fans or something really big to blow the Pineapple Express tropical jet stream back to Hawaii. It rains every stinkin' day and its beyond serious now. Half of my farm is under water and most of the streams and rivers are out. The ducks aren't even sitting out in it anymore and its getting to a point where even the best rain gear can't keep a guys morale up. I think we've seen the sun one day in March. Does it still shine some places? Well better get my umbrella and go walk a mile to get a truck that got left at a job to help a client out. But keep those fans in good shape as we might need em'. Would it work if all us tractor boys started up all our rigs here and let em run wide open to change the jet stream??? At least we could get the exhaust stacks cleaned up. Later Migraine

Just got back to AZ from a week in ND to help Dad get the farming equipment ready - yard was a little muddy from the snow melt when I got there last Saturday, by Tuesday the dust was blowing - and on Friday he was in the field and couldn't seem to find any mud.

Send that rain to ND, my summer paycheck depends on it!

Hey Migraine,

I left Dad's farm in Richmond Yesterday at about 2pm. I was watching the water come up in the ditches and fields all morning. The drains in the yard couldn't take it away fast enough and it was comming into the buildings.

I caught the ferry back to my farm on Vancouver Island and was home by 5:30. It rained at my place, but not that bad - I actually mowed the lawn. However the rivers and streams are comming up fast.

I thought the the rain would have let up by now on the mainland, but just talked to Dad at 12:30 - 1/2 hour ago, he said it hasn't let up one bit.

There's going to be some major dammage to the Pacific North West if this keeps up.

Happy Paddleing, I know I will be for a while,Grant.

I've got a better idea.

Could you just send the rain east? We are really, really needing some moisture here. If we don't get it soon, things are gonna go downhill in a hurry. :>(

We have a 90% chance of rain for today and tonight. Translated out, that means we might see some clouds. :>(

Farmers here are in dire straights. Can't even think about getting on the fields to pump manure and the lagoons and holding pits are running over. Then the DOE sends up helicopters to watch for runoff and see if anybody is trying to pump on wet lands. They have not turned a wheel here and first crop grass is due to come off in 3 weeks. If you are caught with runoff or pumping on no-no land you may as well load up the cows to pay the fine. Rock and a hard place. Yea we need to share our wealth of moisture so come up with a plan and lets do it. After all what I see you set your mind to and accomplish is nothing short of amazing to me!
