the governer of il has decided to come down on big business in form of more and bigger tax on corperate american by making them "pay their fair share" for health care, schools and, kicking in more money for welfare bums. so anything we buy in il is going to cost more.
his budget will be over 1 billion dollars. his last one was made by him and 2 or 3 of his buddies in closed session and rammed thru springfield with little oppsition as he has the chicago machine behind him.

You ought to see what Jennifer has planned for Michigan. Not only the worst employment statistics in the country, but industry can"t leave fast enough. They"re running over each other in the rush. Jennifer wants a new 2% tax on all services. Last one out of Michigan please turn out the lights and lock the doors!

You and i need to sit down and decide how we are going to divide this state if we are the only two left. :) I'm loving every minute of this! I knew it was going to happen, you don't elect an antibusiness governor in an industrial state and expect them to stay. The traffic is lighter,no new neighbors to have to deal with anymore, cocky union thugs with egg on their faces....The sun seems to be shining brighter lately, the birds seem happier,I practically skip out the door into the silence every morning to do chores. I LOVE IT!

Is it true that you cant buy a firearm in Illinois unless you prove that you dont need it. I remember reading that Illinois has the most restrictive gun laws in the country.

Here in Ohio we have a new Commercial activity tax. CAT for short. Every business owner pays a minimum of $150 per year in addition to regular income tax. Our previous Governor spent it faster than it came in. When government runs out of money, it ultimately comes from one place. Our pockets.

Ya know I heard a little news preview and they said his new budget was HUGE...and they said "We'll tell you where he's going to find the money"...I really wondered the same thing. The last thing our state needs is more deficit.
