Well, so far today I have gotten more snow than I have this year and last. My 1/2 mile drive cant be seen, 3-5 ' drifts on the west side of the building's.Blower is mounted on the 544D, fueled up, trickle charger on the batteries. Starting to get a few "do ya think ya could..."calls from neighbors. Should be a busy day tommorrow, and monday am, I have 14,000 pullets coming in on Monday and Tuesday, so I hope it lets up before then. How is it going in your area of central MN??

Here in eastern Nebraska went sideways a couple of times on the way home at 5. The sleet covered up the mud on our road real well. Got at least 3inches of wet snow now at 9pm, hear they got most of the highways closed. A couple of small rivers out of their banks due to ice jams. Got lights, fire going in the stove, awful good night to be home. Got the kerosene lamps filled just in case. John

Took this photo about 5 pm this afternoon, and it hasn't left up yet. It is 9 pm now and it is almost a white out by looking at the yard light. Plowing snow for the township will be a real joy tomorrow morning. South central Mn. near Le Sueur. Didn't get to much ice, just enough to make it interesting.

What a good looking barn! It looks like it was built well and that you are keeping it real nice.

Good luck with the snowstorm. We are getting snow in Eastern Washington, but it is very wet and only about 4" deep so far. It was a bit windy, but the snow isn't drifting, since it is so wet. Temp must be right at freezing. Not too bad, and not enough to bother with plowing. But we will see what it looks like in the morning.

Started snowing at about 2:00PM in Yankton,SD. Rain before that. By 4:30, the snow was about 6 inches deep. Started the 4 wheeler to push the driveway out plus 3 other neighbors driveways. The last driveway was a bear. It snow at least another 3 ins by 6:30. Very wet and heavy snow. This stuff is not going to be blown around by the wind or a snow blower. Previous snows melted this week with the warm weather. Pushed the snow out as far as possible to have room to push snow next time.

Located in SE MN near Preston. We have about 3/4 in, ice on everything. Lost power this afternoon for about two hours. Now its starting to snow again and the wind is really starting to blow. Weather man says 10 to 15 inchs of snow yet tonight and tommorrow. Cows were scaring them selves into a frensy this morning with the crunchy snow. One would take a few steps and get scared by the noise and take of running thus making more noise and the whole herd would take off running in circles. Never seen anything like it. Airheads finally wore themselves out and went to eating hay.

Id like to (or fishing, or other) as time goes by. It is also the wife's birthday, so if I was to be not home, It would be less than desirable. But I put in my email so as to allow some sharing of location, etc. Jim
