There is a Case air cooled engine on ebay(230091158619) I have never seen one of these. Wonder what they were used for?

Later on, Case used a Wisconsin VE4 on the A6 pull type combine before live PTO was common. They worked pretty well, but were a bear to start when they were hot (if you stalled the engine or ran out of gas).

I can remember seeing one of the air cooled Case engines, though.

Those little Case air cooled engines were in the low 20's HP range, and from a small pull type combine. I repowered a Cockshutt 30 tractor with one of those engines 30 years ago. The Model 30 was only used around the yard for light work, so the lower HP did not matter. I loved the jet engine like scream of the cooling blower on that engine.
