For long term winter storage is it best to drain the antifreeze or keep the antifreeze in provided it is adequate for the winter temperatures? Thanks.

Keep it, it has anti corrosion properties including anti rust and it'll stop the internal rusting.

not always....if it was straight antifreeze, it should just stay in there. HOWEVER, 50/50 mix with water will NOT be corrosive proof.
