I cannot get washer fluid to spray on the window when I turn the knob. The motor sounds like it is wanting to spray but nothing comes out. What can I check to solve this. I need it working before the snow.

theres a check valve about three inches away from washer pump that cracks and fluid runs out crack. if you see fluid on fender liner after trying to wash windshield or look for fluid after trying to wash might be cracked hose.sorry you have to pull washer bottle if check valve . just by pass check valve if leaking will take longer to pump fluid to spray nozzles

I would be willing to bet your fluid is frozen. Companies are getting cheap and have started to sell watered down fluid in the summer. It is only good to about 20 degrees. The winter stuff is good to -20 or so. I would be willing to bet that the fluid is frozen in the lines near the nozzles where there is a smaller amount.

Both my car and truck did the same thing this year.

Stopped up. Use a fine wire to clear dried up fluid from the nozzles.

Make sure all your hoses are hooked up in the washer system, and the nozzles are not clogged. Also, make sure the fluid is not froze-not very likely-and also make sure the pump is running. If non of that works, take the 'blue juice' in a hand sprayer bottle-it won't be as handy, but better than nothing in a bind. Greg
