I really enjoy photos posted on this site. I thought I would post some pictures of my 2510 Power Shift as my son and I repair the O-Rings on the number 3 cylindar. Here is a 2005 photo of the tractor in on piece. Paul

Nice looking tractor Paul! Still one of my favorites and we had a diesel with syncro range and with a 6 row tool bar you could pull out the furrows on a quarter of dryland milo in a day with the 2510 on less fuel than most tractors would use today.

HI Paul;
What a nice looking tractor. We didnt get the 2510 here in England, just small numbers of 4020 & 5020 imported in the late 1960's. Some syncro & some powershift.
Seen the 2510 in books & brochures, would have been an interesting tractor here to compete against the Ford 5000, MF175, DB1200 & IH 634 in that power bracket. Guess the 2510 would have been too expensive with shipping costs.
Cheers David

Thats a nice looking machine. We had a gas 2510 and I hated that thing. Never sterted when you needed it or quit when you were in the middle of something. That was the last gas tractor we owned till I bought my 60. Does it have good power with the powershift tranny or is it a little underpowered.

The diesel seems to have adequate power for what I want to do. I like to use it to cut hay for the neighbor on a 7 ft 990 IH Mower Conditioner. Where I live there are a lot of steep hills, it does good. There is no fluid in the tires so I added some wieghts. I would like to see how it would handle a 9ft IH Mower Conditioner some time.
