ShepFL here sitting in hotel. Holiday here on this Friday - Indian Republic Day with major parade here in New Delhi.

Watch for various pics over the next few wks.

Already seen three tractors on the main road in front of the hotel - 2 looked like MF crossed with Allis WC (round fuel tanks) and MF color. Other appeared to be home made job.

Funny how this is the first site I went to after establishing connection :)

Take care, Gotta go look at business email now :(

great picture

thats some smog in the distance

if they had CAFE and EPA and OSHA plus all those attorneys on their backs, maybe our jobs wouldn't be going over there so fast

Better you than me! IŽll stick with 2nd world here in southeast Mexico. India and Bangladesh are near the bottom of the list of places I would want to go, even for a visit.

That's the problem with this country, most people have never been out of their own county.

Skibo I really agree with you on that one.Ive been to the Philippines 4 times and it can be bad in places there.Pollution in Manila is the worst you have a sore throat by noon everyday. Ive been to Honduras twice and the poverty there is bad just like in the Philippines. Young girls that are 12 yrs old begging in the streets. Mothers walking around in the traffic carrying babies and begging. A lot of people here dont know how lucky they are.

You wouldn't want to go there , Ma-by for a visit but not to live . I was in Spain in the 60's have no desire to go back . Open sewers running down the side of street . Having to look up when walking down street to keep someone from dumping slop "Crap" bucket in your face . No thank you even at it's worst the USA is the best place to live in the world . & South Asia is even worse .

Why would you want to go there? I know of 2 people who went there and the filth is horrible, and people urinating in the street and people living in cardboard boxes. YUCK!!!! You couldnt pay me to go there, in fact I made a comment at my old general manager that if he sent me to China or India, I would quit.

I Never go to Detroit. It is a cesspool of crime, filth and coruption. I had 2 job offers from a company in Detroit, (96/shafer) area and I declined both offers becasue of the drive and building was not locked up good enough for me to feel safe to work there. (I am sure they would not let me carry a firearm while working there)

No, I think he is talking about San Diego. Took the family there a year ago and could not believe the homeless problem. People all over the streets and it got a lot worse at night.

Mostly nice people but a bad and hard country and at least for us (GE) it was a hard place to do business. Makes the worst of the U.S. look like a paradise. Extreme culture shock the first time you are there Only place I know of that they send a dead wagon around to pick up the bodys on the street so that the tourists will not see them

The only people it seems who know how good we have it here are those who've been somewhere else. Maybe it should be mandatory that EVERYONE visit a 3rd world country at least once.

I got a free tour of Europe some years back, sponsered by my dear Old Uncle Sam! Got to see England and France! Saw the Arc de Triumph thru the curved back window of an Army ambulance! Stayed in a nice hotel (hospital) in Paris! Saw the Eiffel Tower from my window. Got a free walking tour of most of rural France, although, i did get to walk on the race track at Le Mans! In some of the smaller towns our hike went thru, they had urinals fastened to the walls of houses. They had no covering or privacy--open at the top, but did have a small panel running along the side walk area. And, the balconies on the houses were above the urinals! And, i got 2 free ocean cruises! Accomodations weren't very fancy, in the boat that took us over, but the hospital ship, coming back, was all painted up, in red, white, and blue! We had about fifty men in the first one, in each area! Coming back, they gave us better accommodations! 4 men in each room! I suppose, after the way they sent us over, they must of thought they'd better treat us to nicer quarters! When we docked, the only folks there to give us any greetings, was an ambulance crew, which wisked us off to some hospital in Boston! That was my tour of foreign countries, and i don't want to go back!
