How do you polarise a generator, It has a cut out relay and is positive ground

hold a long piece of wire to hot side of bat,neg in your case,and touch other end to field side of gen for just a second .hook up cut out relay and enjoy

It sells a lot of new regulators. Nothing quite so effective as shorting 12V directly through the field contacts and resistors. :)

(grin) well.. yeah.. i guess if you are in the retail side of it... then I bet you love people installing regulators with generic or bad info!!

And yes.. nothing quite does an A circuit regulator in like hitting it's field contact with power!
