Clean it, then spray on a thin coat of 3M spray adhesive and a apply a piece of reflective mylar film. You can get it with a highly-reflective finish, and it's not expensive. Cut a piece of paper to the exact size and shape needed, and use it as a template.

Never tried it but i'm wondering how that "chrome" spray paint would work - the stuff for touching up old bumpers and such. Seems like it might have a good reflective quality. Or even rustoleum aluminum with a top coat of their clear relective spray paint. Just my 2 cents.

There is no paint that will shine like a mirror, no matter what they call it.

Window cleaner will do a pretty good job, but you will probably never get it as shiny as when new. New reflectors are also available. I haven't checked the price lately, but around $10 or less.
