plus it is a full moon and that has an effect. i figured that out from working on a hog farm for years.although the effect seems to happen sometimes not exactly on the actual full moon. plus some of us are getting bad news like i just got laid off with no warning for the second time this year. but there is some kind of temp truck driving i can do. still is stressful.

I think it"s not only the weather but it gets dark to darn early, feels like you haven"t accomplished anything before you have to come in out of the dark.

I sure could use some cabin time. Shoot, had to move some snow Friday. Saturday the horse got into the pasture with the cattle. That dang horse ran 4 of them go right through the fence. Got the cows put back in and about 8 o'clock in the morning started fix'n fence. Finished that then found a flat tire on the truck. That my friends was loads of fun in the ice and snow. well its sunday night and I hope all is done for a few hours.

Dad always called it cabin fever. I think it was the big reason why he insisted on burning wood in the winter... Run a chainsaw, load it, haul it, unload it, sort it for size, split the big stuff, now throw it all in. Go do it again in a few days. I do know that I personally feel half-sickly all day if I don't go out and do enough to break a good sweat and keep it going for about an hour. For me, gotta do something every day, or it comes back.

Country doctors will tell you their appointments increase when farmers are not actively doing physical work.Maybe we should go sort some hogs.
