The PTO is slow to start and it will run and quit. When it finally gets going it will run fine all day.I was rolling hay today and almost done and it started to stop and start with about a half of a roll.It is full of fluid, really it is about 7 gallons over full, per the tractor vet"s advice. It just started this mess today.Thank ya"ll for your help.

Your clutch pack is wore out.Theres a snap ring that only lets the piston move so far & when worn thats it.The only other thing is once in awhile the valve section will have a piece fall out & you loose pressure under load.

Well could be the pickup tube has gotten loose and is letting it suck air around the small seal on the tube . or it vary well could be that the clutch pack is just about done for . Don't know for sure as i am niot there doing the checking and also what the lockup pressure is on full engaugement and start up . Here ya got to have the test fitting and a 600 lbs . gauge and see just what in the hello is going on . I like the PTo pressure set on a 706 up around 245-260 .

Maybe a bad o-ring or split in one of the tubes. Ours did the same thing . It can be a pain to find . You can do the same thing we did and over fill it till it works then when you have some time(Winter) tear down and fix. By chance is the three point and hydraulics working right . Do you hear a whinning sound? If so maybe time to change the filter. My 2 cents

Yeah, the 3 point and the hyd.are working fine.No problem opening the roller door or moving the rolls. It is already over full,I guess I'll pour it in til it sprays it out the top.
